Working in working out into your daily schedule can be difficult when you are trying to juggle the responsibilities of being a mother or a wife or a homemaker or having a career or all of the above. I won’t tell you it is easy to fit it in and in most respects when the day gets busy, working out is most often the first thing dropped from every to do list. For me personally I find working out first thing in the morning before my family wakes up is the best time for me to get it done. I start my day feeling a sense of accomplishment and I don’t have to worry how I will fit it in later when my day gets busy.
I usually workout between 5:30 and 6:30 am 5-6 days a week. The key to my success is preparation. At night I lay out all my workout clothes and pack my gym bag for the next day so I am not fumbling around in the dark trying to find everything in the morning.
This setup works perfectly because I get up, get into the bathroom and all my stuff is waiting for me. I am able to get dressed and get out of the house without waking anyone up, especially my 2 year old which would be disastrous. This morning I followed my routine, got up and went to my last bootcamp for awhile. I loved the workouts and the instructors at Pure Power Bootcamp never leave you wanting more, they push your body to it’s limits. Maybe after my half-marathon I will return for more, but for now I need to concentrate on running.
How do you juggle it all and include working out into your day?
