Where did the week go? I feel like this week has just been sucked away from me, the weekend is almost here which means work for me. I know everyone else looks forward to the weekends but when you are like me and only work weekends and holidays my Friday is like your Sunday. So much to do but so little time…..
Between taking care of my 2 year old, blogging, exercise, clean eating, household chores (I feel like I empty the dishwasher 3x a day) and getting my garden ready for planting veggies and herbs my days are full from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. I am also on call this week for the homecare agency I work for so you can also throw some work into the mix this week too.
Since I started the Supreme 90 Day system on some days I have had to make time for 2 workouts-Supreme 90 Day and then either yoga or cardio. My planned cardio was running but because of my knee I have exchanged running for the recumbent bike this week. I do the Supreme 90 Day workout as soon as I wake up in the am and then the 2nd workout I do in the afternoon usually when my older daughter comes home so she can watch Abby. Yesterday I decided to get on the recumbent bike, which resides in my room, while Abby watched TV on my bed. Big mistake.
I had a 30 minute workout planned but decided to do 45 minutes because Abby was so quiet and calm watching her show while laying under the sheet, I figured why not take advantage. When I finished my workout and went over to her the first thing she said to me was, “Mama I’m a mess.” Uh-oh….when I pulled the cover off of her this is what I found:
Yes that is Desitin all over Abby, her toy and my sheets….thank god it did not get on the comforter. Someone left the Desitin within reach of Abby by accident, big mistake. For all the parents out there Desitin is not easy to get off the child, game or sheets so do not leave it within reach of your child or you will be very sorry. One other tip for parents is that if your 2 year old is super quiet and calm even if they are right in from of you they are doing something wrong, check on them. I thought she was just tired and she actually had the sheet over her so from my point of view I could not see her with the Desitin, on the bright side I fit in a great workout!
Life with a 2 year old is always filled with adventures…..she is so cute you can’t even get mad!! I just try to go with the flow as difficult as that may be sometimes. Here’s hoping that today is free of Desitin disasters!! I hope everyone has a great Thursday!!
