This is the last week of the #Fitblog planks challenge and I have worked hard to accomplish my goal of holding a regular plank on my forearms for three minutes. Six weeks ago when I started this challenge I could only hold the plank for 50 seconds and on that first day I decided to challenge myself with a goal of three minutes. Chris, my planks partner, could only hold his plank for 45 seconds and he decided to challenge himself with a goal of two minutes.
These were not easy goals by any means but we are as:
Drumroll please………..yes we met our goals!!!! Holding a plank for 3 minutes is hard, my whole body hurt, when Chris said time I dropped to the floor and couldn’t get up for another 3 minutes. For Chris, 2 minutes was just as hard, his body was shaking, when I said time he dropped unable to hold the plank for a second longer.
All I can say is I am glad this challenge is over, but I am also glad I took the challenge in the first place and accomplished my goal. I’d like to thank the challenge hosts Morgan from Life after Bagels and Katy Widrick, without the both of you and #Fitblog Chats I would never have been able to hold a plank for 3 minutes. Thanks!! I am looking forward to the next challenge.
