Today begins the last week of the #Fitblog Abs Challenge. I thought I would be ahead of the game but in a ll actuality I am slightly behind, but I still have this last week to catch up and reach the goal of 3500 reps in 35 days. I will meet the goal I just have to squeeze in some ab work everyday, no excuses.
Week 4 #Fitblog Abs Challenge Recap:

- Sunday: 100 reps
- Monday: 100 reps
- Tuesday: 100 reps
- Wednesday: 100 reps
- Thursday: 100 reps
- Weekly Total: 500 reps
- 4 Week Total: 2646 reps
I have completed 2646 reps of abdominal exercises in 4 weeks. I am 854 reps away from my goal which means I need to complete 122 reps per day this week to reach 3500 reps and this is exactly what I plan to do. This challenge has kept me motivated to work my abs almost everyday even when I slacked in other areas of my workout regimen and completing the goal is a must.

On August 2nd ExerciseTV is launching their new workout series Beach Bootcamp on ExerciseTV On Demand!! Beach Bootcamp consists of a series of 10 workouts that will tone up your entire body so you are ready hit the beach jiggle free. Last night I had the opportunity to try out the Beautiful Beach Backs workout featuring trainer Erin Yeomans.
I loved this workout!! This 6-minute workout was short, sweet and to the point utilizing only a workout band and chair. This workout is great to take away on vacation because you can do it anywhere and you only need to pack an exercise band, which is a definite plus in my book. I woke up this morning with a sore back, a sure sign that my muscles were adequately challenged. You can also easily squeeze this workout into your day, lack of time is not an excuse.
I can’t wait to try out the rest of the Beach Bootcamp workouts when they are released next week. Summer is not quite over yet and these workouts look like a great way to fit in your workouts each day.
TGIF to all of you that are off this weekend, unlike me who is on call all weekend long and working too. The only upside is that this is my last weekend as a weekend/holiday nurse because on Monday I start my full-time position!!! Monday is also August 1st and I am ready for a whole new set of goals to keep me motivated to workout and eat healthy!!!’
