I had a great time this weekend at The Healthy Living Summit. I met new people, made new friends and picked up some great tips which I plan to incorporate into my blog. Before I get into the actually recap I would like to take some time and thank everyone that worked hard at making this event a great one!!!!
The Founding Committee of The Healthy Living Summit includes Caitlin from Healthy Tipping Point, Heather from Hangry Pants, Kath from Kath Eats Real Food, Meghann from Meals and Miles, and Tina from Carrots ‘N’ Cake. Without these bloggers we would not have The Healthy Living Summit, so a big thanks to all of them.
I’d like to especially thank Meghann from Meals and Miles for organizing this fantastic event, all her hard work paid off and the event was a great success.
Thanks to all the sponsors who provided us with food, swag and a lot of great information. A big thanks to Quaker Oats, Attune Foods, Frito-Lay, Together Counts, Fillo Factory, Five Bamboo, Stonyfield Farm, Adora Calcium and Drink Chia.
Thanks to everyone behind the scenes who volunteered to set up, stuffed all of our swag bags and just made sure the event ran smoothly.
Last, but not least I’d like to thank all the speakers who took the time to prepare many great presentations for all of us attending.
Now that I got that out of the way let me begin my recap of this weekends events. I headed down to Philly Thursday afternoon with my husband and Abby ready for a few days off. We did hit a couple of major storms on the way to Philly which pelted us with torrential rain and hail, basically making it impossible to see anything while driving, thank god Chris was driving and not me.
