How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was awesome, I had a NYC blogger playdate on Sunday which rocked!!! A full recap to come later this week. A big thanks to Keelie from Sweat = Success for arranging it!!!
Week 2 of the 10 Pound Slimdown Xtreme Workout is done. I completed most of the workouts but switched up the days and switched out some of their workouts form my own but all in all I followed the challenges suggested workouts.
Here is the breakdown:
- Monday: Xtreme Cardio Kickboxing, Recovery Upper Body, 2 mile run
- Tuesday: Recovery Core
- Wednesday: Recovery Upper Body, 4 mile run
- Thursday: Xtreme Total body
- Friday: Xtreme Upper Body
- Saturday: 8.22 mile run
- Sunday: 90 minute Hot Yoga Class
In addition to my workouts I also completed my 5 day Shakeology challenge courtesy of Maria the Fitness Zealot, this challenge has gotten me back on the healthy eating track. Shakeology was a great breakfast that kept me full until lunch and energized throughout the whole day!!! I will be continuing to use Shakeology on a regular basis.
It was a great week!!! One week left until the Diva’s 1/2 Marathon, 2 weeks left of the 10 Pound Slimdown Xtreme challenge and I am ready for both!! I feel stronger and more energized from a consistent workout regimen, my next challenge is to start getting up early (5am) again to work out before work…..I will be working on that challenge this week.
