September has arrived , summer is almost gone and the unmet goals from last month have become a reality. My August Ambitions dwindled to completing the Virginia Beach 1/2 Marathon without dying, which I am happy to say I accomplished. In August I began working full-time again and just getting used to the new schedule was rough enough, so all the goals I set out to achieve in August were pushed to the back burner as my body got used to my new schedule.
It is now a new month, my body has adjusted to my new schedule and I have some new goals to go along with it. So now it is out with the old and in with the new. I am not going to dwell on the past, I plan to just look forward to the future taking one day at a time.
So here are my new goals:
- Start Exercise TV’s 10 lb Slimdown with Chris Freytag on 9/12/11 and complete the full 28 days. I plan on trying all the workouts this week and reviewing them, then I will start the actual program on Monday posting my before and after stats.
- Run 4x week
- Achieve a new 1/2 Marathon PR on October 2nd during The Diva’s Half Marathon. I ran this 1/2 marathon last year in 2 hours and 5 minutes, a pretty good time considering it was my first 1/2 marathon. This year I am going to rock it!!!!
- Continue my quest for a six-pack………..
