Three years ago today my world was changed forever when my precious baby girl Abigail Elizabeth Church was born. It feels like yesterday yet today she is turning 3 and growing before my eyes…..soon she’ll be a teenager like Angelica.
It is unbelievable how much she has changed in 3 years I barely remember her being so little. Abby was a gift that came into all of our lives making the world a much brighter place to live.
She became the light in my grandfather’s eye in the last few months of his life, the only time he was happier was when my other daughter Angelica was born. Five months after she was born he passed away suddenly and without her I think I may have fallen apart. I am not a very religious person but I sometimes feel that God gave us Abby to help my grandfather leave this world happy and to give the rest of us happiness after he passed.
Abby has grown and become her own little person, she knows what she wants and usually gets it. Like any little girl she knows how to look at us just the right way to melt our hearts every time.

My niece is the same precious gift….my younger sister conceived her when my Dad was fighting a fierce battle with leukemia. He never got to meet her but as soon as she conceived, my gut told me that she was the gift that was going to help our family through this hard time.
