A Running Haiku #HAWMC

by Toni Church on April 6, 2012

My very sad attempt at a Haiku:

RUNNING

Running opens doors

Running awakens the mind

It opens the soul

Running is my drug

The high is fuel for my soul

I am addicted

I race to achieve

I race to push my body

Running is the key

Mileage is the base

The marathon is my goal

I will run it all

Well folks that is my Haiku!!!  I hope you enjoyed it more than I enjoyed writing it!!!

I think your Haiku is beautiful. I wrote about yoga, vegan eating, and women’s health. It was a lot more challenging to write a three line poem than it is to write a page long health post.

I agree, I think writing this Haiku took me 3x as long!!!

I thought it was nice. It sort of explained your feeling about it.
