#FitBlogNYC and a Rainy 2 Mile Run

Tomorrow I am so excited to be headed to NYC for Fitness Magazine’s Blogger Meet & Tweet thanks to FitFluential!!!!!

Fitness meetandtweet #FitBlogNYC and a Rainy 2 Mile Run

I am so excited to part of this event and to have the opportunity to meet up with so many other fitness bloggers!!!!  Full recap of the event to be posted by the weekend!!!!

Today after the work I had the full intention of working out with weights plus yoga plus a run but a migraine had other plans for me.  I ended up finishing up some paperwork, taking a Relpax (migraine pill) and sitting on the couch until Chris came home.  I begged him to motivate me to run despite the migraine and the fact that it was raining out.

Two things I hate the most when I run is a migraine and rain but with the help of my husband’s motivation I ran anyway!!

It was a slow run but I felt much better afterwards and running in the rain wasn’t so bad because it was warm so I guess I don’t mind running in the rain as long as it is not cold out!!!

Now I am off to get everything I need ready for tomorrow’s trip to the city plus a short yoga session to stretch out my legs!!!

Do you like running in the rain??

Do I like running in the rain….that would probably be a resounding no. Sometimes though in the hot summer a nice little sprinkle shower feels good.

I like running in some rain, Saturday during the 5k it was misty rain which was nice and as long as it is a nice summer rain and I have water proof shoes I love it. However you remember the storm last October with freezing rains the weekend of Halloween? I ran in that and it SUCKED! And the 5k was on the water in Blue Point so the wind was a doll too LOL

Running in the rain in the warmth is great but in the cold it sucks :( I remember that storm and I wouldn’t have run in it, kudos to you for doing it!

That is so exciting! You are going to have a blast! I used to hate running in the rain, but I had to learn to love it since I live in Seattle:)
