I am soooo happy it is Friday!!!!! I am still not feeling a 100% but now at least I have have weekend to rest and recover. I have no races on my schedule until June 9th so I just plan to take it easy during my running through the weekend. I am happy to just be running so I don’t want to push too hard and end up relapsing.
My Favorite Things this week:
- Oakley: I am loving my Oakley sunglasses that I received at #FitblogNYC. I don’t normally wear sunglasses while I am running because they end up slipping and sliding all over the place which can be quite annoying so I usually opt for a sun visor or nothing, that is until I tried Oakley. I have run with these sunglasses 3 times already and they do not budge at all!!! These sunglasses stayed in the same exact spot throughout my entire run!!! These sunglasses are also stylish and look great which makes them appropriate for everyday wear in addition to working out, what more could you ask for?!?! I am loving my Oakley’s.
- Road ID: The reason I love Road ID is that when I want to just go out an run without anything else I know with RoadID on my wrist my emergency contact information is readily available if something happened to me. There have been so many times where a driver was not paying attention and I have almost been hit, thankfully they have all been close calls but you never know when something could happen that could cause you to become unsciousness or unable to speak. My Road ID contains my name, Chris’s phone number, my allergies (which is none) and my history of asthma. This information could be vital if I could not speak for myself so when I am wearing my Road ID I feel secure knowing that if I could not speak for myself my Road ID will speak for me. On Monday night I was invited to an exclusive designer preview of Technogym equipment at their SoHo Showroom in Manhattan. I am very excited to attend this event because all of their products and fitness equipment all look awesome!!
