What is Sweat to Street exactly you ask?? Here is the description:
“Sweat to Street has been created as a place to link up your favorite outfits of the week as a new Sunday blog feature. The idea is to have some fun and change it up! Each week we encourage you to post one workout outfit and one outfit you wore that isn’t fitness related.”

I decided to attend the Zella Day of Movement event at Nordstrom today for the primary purpose of getting an outfit for the Fitness Magazine Blogger Meet and Tweet I am attending on Wednesday thanks to FitFluential.
In addition to making new friends at this event I also found my official outfit for the Fitness Blogger Meet and Tweet!!! I will save this outfit for next week’s Sweat to Street post!!!
I first met Nicole a yoga instructor from Ajna Om Yoga that gave me some great tips on detoxifying our bodies via yoga!!! More to come on that topic in a future blog. It was nice to watch Nicole during the beginning of the event flowing through all the yoga poses! She moved between each pose with such a gracefulness that I hope to eventually achieve during my yoga practice.
I had the opportunity also to meet and hang out with a fellow FitFluential Ambassador Amanda from Happy Mother Runner. We had a great time trying on a bunch of different workout outfits with her friend as the best judge of what looked good and what didn’t!!!

The Zella collection at Nordstrom was awesome!! So awesome in fact I wanted to by absolutely everything!!!!
I ended up up buying a pair of short pants, a sports bra, 2 tops plus I got one top for free…Happy Mother’s Day to me!!!!

I loved the Zella active clothing line and will definitely be back to buy more when my budget permits!!!

I agree, they had some exceptionally cute clothes. I tried on some of the shorts, but they didn’t look very good on me, so I consoled myself by buying a bagful of Chanel make-up on the first floor. I hope the Zella line comes out with bottoms that have phone-sized pockets, as I wear my athletic clothes both before and after teaching so need a place for the phone! Hint hint Zella.
