I have been taking on many challenges and not following through on them like June’s Green Smoothie Challenge and the Under Armour Challenge. My reasons are good, at least I think so, but I really want to follow through on my August challenges because I hate when I start something and don’t complete it. The Green Smoothie challenge went downhill when I got sick at the beginning of JUne and I jsut was never able to get back on track and with the Under Armour Challenge I just had technical difficulties with uploading videos to the site so I just gave up. Are these good reasons, maybe, but this month I plan not to have any excuses……..
The first challenge I am signing up for is the Healthy Living/Fitness Blogger Writing Challenge hosted by Janice from the Fitness Cheerleader:
Janice has challenged all participants to blog everyday for the month of August and has included a daily topic list!!! I am going to do my best to complete this challenge although I am away for about 10 days in August so this is definitely going to be challenging for me to complete but I will say that even if I miss one day I will blog about every topic she has listed for the month!
The second challenge I am joining this month is Run To The Finish’s Clean Eating Challenge:
This challenge focuses on choosing whole foods, consuming healthy fats, drinking lots of water, choosing organic or humanely raised animal products when possible, and slowing down and savoring food when eating. I have been trying to incorporate more “clean eating” into my life so this challenge is perfect!!!!
In addition to these challenges I am also participating in Tina Reale’s Best Body Bootcamp and training for the NYC marathon. I have a lot on my plate but I think I accomplish more under these circumstances!!!
