Happy Friday all!!!! Sorry for the lack of posts this week and next but I have some big things coming up plus I just started working on my Bachelor’s degree and I am attending FitBloggin next week!! I am just busy, busy this week and next but it will hopefully settle down after that…..or not because I will still be marathon training.
I am excited to announce that I will be attending the inaugural Runner’s World Half and Festival October 20 and 21st in Bethlehem Pennsylvania thanks to FitFluential and Runner’s World!!! I wanted to sign up for this race since it was announced but due to a work obligation I didn’t think it would be possible but I was able to get coverage for that weekend which has freed me up to be able to participate in the Half-Marathon on Sunday.
About the weekend as quoted from the Runner’s World Website:
“Runner’s World is pleased to kick off the first-ever Runner’s World Half Marathon and Running Festival in our own backyard in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The festival weekend on October 19-21 will include:
- Seminars
- Live music
- Running films
- Appearances by three-time Olympian Shalane Flanagan
- Prerace dinner with Runner’s World editors
- 10K, 5K, and kids races (Saturday)
- Half marathon (Sunday)
HQ for the weekend will be on the grounds of the beautifully refurbished Bethlehem Steel Mill and ArtsQuest SteelStacks campus.”
FTC: I received a race entry courtesy of Runner’s World and FitFluential. I was not compensated in any other way.
I am looking forward to having a fun-filled running weekend!!!! If you would would like to participate in any or all of the races you can use the code “BLOGGER18” to save 10%.
Have a great weekend all!!!
