Friday Favorites-Featuring a Progresso Soup Giveaway

by Toni Church on October 19, 2012

 TGIF!!!

I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I am that this week is finally over!!!  I am ready for a nice, relaxing weekend!!!!  This week has just been mentally stressful and without being able to run, I had no way to release that particular stress.  I am looking forward to visiting the new S.A. Elite store in Westbury this weekend and stocking up on some workout clothing!!!

I did not meal plan this week due to the busyness of the weekend with Abby’s birthday and I am regretting it.  I have taken the easy way out this week by just subsisting on left overs and store bought food, not the healthiest choices either, which has just left me feeling blah. This weekend I will definitely be meal planning Saturday night so I can prep all my food for the week on Sunday!

 My Favorite Convenience item:

ProgressoLightCreamySoups Friday Favorites Featuring a Progresso Soup GiveawayProgresso Light Soups have more than 40 flavors of soups the are 100 calories or less and a 2-PointsPlus value per serving.  They have just introduced two new creamy flavors to this lineup-Creamy Potato with Bacon and Cheese and Chicken Pot Pie Style.  Although these soups sound like heavy and decadent, Progresso has lightened them up, while retaining their creamy, rich flavors.

My husband loves Progresso Soups, especially the Manhattan Clam Chowder, and these two new soups were a hit!!  I personally prefer homemade soup, but there are occasions when I am super busy that I will pop open a can for lunch or dinner.   Both flavors were delicious, I tasted them both from my husband’s bowl, and I loved that there were only about 200 calories in each can!!!

Do you want to try Progresso’s new creamy soups???
