Three Things Thursday

I have seen Three Things Thursday on quite a few blogs including Living the Dream, Living the Fit Life and Run with Jess.  I have decided to try it out this week because I happen to have three things I want to talk with you about today.

  1. I am ready to run but unfortunately my body is not…..I still have a least 6 more weeks before I can run again, and I think I may pull out my hair before the 6 weeks pass.   Between personal and work obligations, I have had a crazy busy and completely stressful week.  Normally, I would go for a run which always makes me feel better, unfortunately due to my stupid stress fracture I cannot run.  Last week I tried adding in spinning, but after two sessions my shin was aching pretty bad so Ihad to back off.  I am in desperate need of a heart pumping, sweat session and I am a total loss for how I can do this without putting any pressure on my shin.  For now I am settling for Pilates, which I do love, and for push-ups, which I loathe. I did order running gear the pool, which should sometime next week, so I will start pool running soon.  If you have any other suggestions for me I would totally appreciate hearing all about them in the comments. 
  2.  Why do the best thoughts or ideas for blogging come wither while I am laying in bed sleeping or while running??  This always seems to happen to me, but by the time I get to a computer, the thoughts are gone or are all mixed up in my head.  I have decided to put a notepad by my bed so I can quickly jot down the ideas as soon as they pop into my head.  I have not come up with a solution to extract the thoughts that I have while running, I need an app that will take my thoughts and put them into a document, anyone know of an app like this???  LOL!  If I can creat someting that can extract or thoughts I could be a millionaire!!!  How do you deal with ideas that come to your head at inopportune times????

I have spoken into a voice recorder app on my phone during a hike before when an idea hit me. I suppose you could do that on a run if you feel like carrying your phone:) I have been voting for you. Good luck! Hope you can get back to running ASAP!
