I ran a mile yesterday….one stupid mile and today my leg is hurting. I am discouraged to say the least, but instead of wallowing I plan to rest, recover and pull back. I will run pain free someday, unfortunately today is not that day. I just need more time to strengthen and heal. Hear are my current thoughts:
While I am trying to get my running back on track I have decided to join a challenge for December. Amanda from Happy Mother Runner is hosting a holiday health challenge on DietBet. To participate players enter into DieBet by paying an entry fee and the money is placed into a pot. Everyone records their weight have 28 days to lose 4% of their body weight and those who complete the challenge successfully split the pot.
A portion of the post will be donated to GuyOnRescue who is providing assistance to families that were affected by Hurricane Sandy on Staten Island.
