My friend Crystal called me on Friday to inform me that the Brooklyn Half Marathon registration had opened and she was going to sign up because it was already half-full. I had not planned on running a half until the summertime, but I have been wanting to run the Brooklyn Half for few years, so I took the plunge and registered:
About 5 minutes after I registered the race reached full capacity, I had just made it!!!! This is my motivation to start increasing my running mileage. Training will begin in about two weeks and I am excited to start!!!!
