It’s been awhile since I posted a Friday Favorites and this week I have a few favorites I want to share! Just when I thought that running again would never get any easier or enjoyable, I got my groove back!!! After a successful 7 mile run last weekend, I am finally feeling good about where I am with my running!! This is a good thing because I have two upcoming races that I am excited about running!!!
Next Saturday we are on vacation!!!! The trip begins in Baltimore for one night and then we are on to Virginia Beach!!! On the last day of vacation I will be running the Rock ‘n’ Roll 1/2 Marathon!!! I ran this race 2 years ago and it is definitely my favorite half marathon to date. You can check out my recap here.
I am so excited to be running it again! My friend Gigi from Running On Candy will be there too!!! It will be the perfect ending to a great vacation!!!!
The weekend of October 18th I will be heading to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for the Runner’s World Half and Festival!!! Runner’s World is sponsoring an amazing group of bloggers, including me, for the weekend!!!
I will be running the Hat Trick, which is a 5K, 10K and Half Marathon all in the same weekend.
There is something for everyone during this weekend. It all begins on Friday with the kids races. The 5K and 10K will be on Saturday, followed by seminar’s, speakers and a pasta dinner. The Half Marathon will be on Sunday morning.
This will be an exciting, jam packed weekend of running!!!

I was invited to Sitan Gym Long Island in East Meadow this week to try out a couple of their classes. I decided on Muay Thai and Kettlebells, back to back on Tuesday night. All I can say right now is holy soreness. My friend Crystal joined me as my photographer and she said she had never seen me sweat so much. Eddie led the Muay Thai Class and Rick led the Kettlebells. Both were awesome!!!!
I will share more about my experience on Monday!!!!
That’s all folks!!! I hope you all have a great weekend!!!!
What are your favorite things this week???
