Happy Friday Everyone!!!
I know that you are all anxiously awaiting my Runner’s World recaps, but I have been super busy with my new job and school, so I promise to have them to you by the beginning of next week! I am absolutely loving my new job and as soon as my training is over I will be working 4 days a week, which leaves me with 3 days to blog!!!!!!
Today’s post features a few of my favorites form the past month!!!
First up is MixMyOwn healthy breakfast:
MixMyOwn is allows customers to create their very own customized healthy breakfast granola/muesli mix by providing over a 100 different nutritious, natural, organic ingredients to choose for the mix. Basically you start with a base of muesli or granola then add in your choice of base ingredients, fruits nuts and seeds and any extras that are available. Gluten free options are available too!!!
I started with a base and then added in wheat germ, blueberries, pomegranate, coconut, chia seeds, raw almonds and berries. After creating your mix you get to name it, mine is named Tonee78’s mix (id:201309120B48, in case anyone is interested in ordering mine). Less than a week later I received my 1lb. bag of my very own muesli mix, that is absolutely delicious.
I love to eat it with Chobani yogurt for breakfast or a snack!!!
MixMyOwn’s ingredients are also non-GMO.
I definitely recommend trying them out!!! If you find a cereal you like then you can just scan the back of your bag with a QR scanner and reorder with ease!!! Anything with ease is a plus for me!!!!
Next up is Jessica R’s Getting On The Ball DVD, the first in her Beyond Strong series.
This is a DVD that you can utilize anywhere in your home, I used it in my bedroom. For this workout you don’t need a lot of room, but you need an exercise ball, light weights, an exercise mat, and a stretching strap (I used a towel). The workout is comprised of (3) 15-20 minute workouts that you can do all together or one at a time. I love videos that I can break down into 20 minute time slots because then I am guaranteed to do at least one workout a day.
This DVD featured workouts that trained your entire body and focused on the core. I broke my workouts up into 20-minute segments, but you could easily combine the three for an hour long workout. Jessica’s instruction and demonstration made the workout easy to follow, although the moves were challenging for me. I found these workouts challenging, but keep in mind that I have not been consistently training an area of my body, especially my core.
These workouts can benefit anyone from a beginner to an expert fitness enthusiast.
Jessica was nice enough to provide (2) DVDs for a giveaway to (2) lucky readers of Running, Loving, Living. Enter the giveaway via the form below. Giveaway is open to US residents 18 and over. Giveaway will end on November 8th at midnight. If winner does not respond within 72 hours a new winner will be chosen. Running, Loving, Living is not responsible for any damaged or lost prizes.
I will pick a winner next Friday!
