March came in like a lion and went out like one, dumping a few inches of wet, slushy snow on us yesterday morning. I am hoping that with April will come some warm, sunny weather!
Even though March wasn’t the best month weather wise, I still had a few favorites:
- Sarah Dussault’s book: Get Skinny Again!
What I really love about Sarah is that openly admits to NOT being naturally skinny, she battled weight gain during college, just like many students. Sarah created her own workouts and diet regimen to fit her busy lifestyle and this book is a compilation of everything she wishes she had as a resource back when she was trying to get skinny again.
This book is for everyone, from the college student to a busy working mom. It covers every aspect of getting in shape that you need and it is broken down into three parts:
- Part One: Time To Get On Your Fitness.
- Part Two: Time To Eat Clean To Get Lean
- Part Three: Time To Live The Fit Life
This book provides you with necessary information to create a balanced fitness plan that will work for you. From weight training to stretching to cardio, Sarah covers it all. She provides you with exercises you can do in and out of the gym, which is awesome for those of us who just cancelled out gym membership, and she demonstrates all the exercises in large, colorful pictures. I love the section of 10-minute workouts because sometimes that is all I have to spare.
Sarah delves into how to eat clean without spending all your time in the kitchen, she even gives you great options for eating out for every meal. Her recipes are simple, easy and delicious! There is also a section on cleanses and how to be social while staying healthy.
The last section gives you tips on how to create your roadmap to success. We all face individual challenges with staying healthy and maintaining our weight and by planning we can curtail an obstacles that may get in our way. The book leaves you with inspiration, Sarah’s own incredible journey, which I loved reading!
This book is a must for anyone looking to Get Skinny Again!
These chips are only a 100 calories per 1 oz serving, 80% less fat than typical fried chips, all natural, non-gmo, and gluten free. The original sea salt is even vegan!
Now, if you are thinking what I was thinking when I read about these chips, which is that they probably don’t taste very good, you are completely wrong!
These chips are delicious!!! My husband could not get enough of the crunchy mac n’ cheese flavored ones and he is picky about these kind of snacks. If you are craving a crunchy, great tasting, healthy snack, then look no further than Eatrageous, your taste buds will not be disappointed.
- The Walking Dead Season Finale
Holy Zombies! If you do not watch this show, you should. I won’t give away any spoilers, but I will say it is going to be torturous waiting for next season to begin.
What were your March favorites?
