It was a busy weekend that started with a 8 am run with my husband on Saturday. We knew that there would be no other time to get it in, so despite getting home from work at 1 am, I dragged myself out of bed to run. This was a 3 mile, untimed run. I wore my new blue/yellow RBX Active top that my mother-in law gave me for mother’s day! I have been a big fan of RBX Active since they sent me an outfit a few months ago to try out (pictured on the right). RBX clothes are light, sweat-wicking and extremely comfortable!! I am loving them!
Now, speaking of my mother-in-law, Saturday my husband and I, along with my sister-in-law and her husband, threw my mother and father-in-law a surprise 65th birthday party. Their birthday’s were at the beginning of April, but because of other obligation, we were unable to do the party sooner, which actually worked to our benefit, because they had absolutely no clue and were completely surprised. They thought they were attending a lunch we were having for my daughter Abigail for her dance recital that was the next day.
It is so hard to surprise people now a days, I was so happy that they were truly surprised! We were even able to include my other sister-in-law, who lives in California, by using facetime. Modern technology is great, isn’t it?!?!?!
Sunday, we had Abigail’s dance recital!!
She was in two acts, which accounted for about 3 minutes of the 3 1/2 hour recital. Now, don’t get me wrong, loved her 3 minutes and I even enjoyed many of the other dances, but 3 1/2 hours was way too long for all of us. Luck for us Abby has decided not to pursue dance, so we will be signing her up for something else in the fall, possibly gymnastics.
That was my weekend, how was yours?
