A couple of weeks ago I was invited to Noodles & Company for a VIP tasting to try out their new healthier menu. Noodles & Company’s offers a globally inspired menu which features classic noodles and pasta dishes in addition to soups, sandwiches and salads. Their food is always fresh, completely customizable and made-to order. While Noodles & Company does have indulgent offerings on their menu, they have taken the time to show their customers how they can create meals that are 500 calories or less.
They have this awesome roadmap on their tables that allows customers to take any of their menu items and create a 500 calorie or less meal. I love that at Noodles & Company you can travel the globe and still eat healthfully.
Another great feature of Noodles & Company is that they offer a great selection of beers and wine!!!
Before I show off the amazing tasting they was offered to me and my readers I just want to say that the staff was amazing. Kim, the manager, really understands the company and truly loves the food which showed when she spoke about Noodles. I loved meeting and learning about the company from someone who is truly passionate about what she does every day. While you order at the counter at Noodles the food is brought out to you by the waitstaff. Our waitress for the night was Carly and she was great, very polite and attentive to all our needs. I did try to tip her at the end of the tasting and she declined stating it is against policy. Noodles has a no tipping policy. The want their customers to be able to come, get great service and eat at a reasonable price without feeling the obligation to tip. I think this is great especially for families on a budget.
Now onto the tasting!!! Kim shared with us some of her favorite items and I can honestly say that everything we ate was amazing. Noodles offers both regular and small plates making it possible for you to create a totally customizable meal at whatever calorie count that works for you. The meals we tasted were all regular plates that we all shared.
Margherita Flatbread (330 calories)
Chinese Chicken Chop Salad (510 calories)
Whole Grain Tuscan Fresca with Parmesan or Feta (600 calories)
Bangkok Curry with Shrimp (550 calories)
Every single item was great! None of us could eat a single bite more. The Tuscan Fresca Pasta with the feta cheese was a hit and my favorite dish of the night. lThe only item that got mixed reviews was the Bangkok Curry with Shrimp, while some of us really liked it others thought it was too sweet. If you like curry and don’t mind a little sweetness you will like the Bangkok Curry. Overall the tasting was amazing!!!!

A big thanks goes out to Noodles & Company and their staff for hosting this awesome tasting for me and my readers!!! I will definitely be eating at Noodles & Company again especially since it is so close to my job!!!
