Happy Friday all!! I hope you are having as good of a week as I am! Last night my 18 year old daughter graduated high school! This is an amazing milestone and I look forward to watching her achieve all of her life goals! Congrats Angelica!
This year is going to be a year of milestones and new things for my family as we pack up and move to Tampa Bay. I will not miss the winter, taxes or the fast paced environment I have grown up in. I will miss my friends, family, job and being a train ride away from the city (AKA Manhattan). I will especially miss my bestie Crystal. She is my friend, workout buddy, PR person and sometimes blog photographer. Crystal is up for any challenge I throw her way including walking 26.2 miles for breast cancer at the inaugural Moon Walk in Manhattan and talking her way into the NYC Marathon (that is a story for another day) so that she could go with me.
Crystal and I have been workout buddies since I was 19 when we started running together. Running brought us together and our friendship developed and grew over the years into what is now an unbreakable bond. I am grateful to have Crystal as a friend who is always there for me and is my plus one at many of my blogging events and as a workout buddy who is up for any challenge I throw her way!!!!
Through their Make Your Move campaign Kohl’s is supporting a healthier and more active lifestyle for their customers. Kohl’s was nice enough to support my active lifestyle by sending me these awesome Armitron watches to share with my workout buddy! They also sent me two watcher to share with one lucky reader and their workout buddy too! These watches are great for running intervals, HIIT workouts, and time of course!
Crystal and I are always moving whether we are running, walking or heading to yoga! When we hang out we always try to incorporate something active whenever we get together! I don’t know what I am going to do without her when I move to Tampa Bay. It is so hard to make friends as an adult and no one could ever replace Crystal, but hopefully I will connect with someone who likes to run, workout and attend events as much as I do!!!!
