Happy Friday all!!
I am having a great week and I hope you are too! Marathon training is going great and I am really loving working with Jess as my coach. I have some new favorite items that are helping me through my marathon training and I thought I would share them with you today!
- Soleus GPS Mini: Soleus sent me this awesome running watch just in time for the start of marathon training. The Soleus GPS mini shows speed, distance, and pace. I love that you can charge and upload via integrated USB which is actually in the watch band. This is great for me because there is no extra wire for me to lose it just plugs right into my computer. It also has 100-lap memory, automatic lap splits, calorie counter, a 4 button user interface, and a customizable display. The watch comes preset with kilometers and even though I played around with the watch I couldn’t figure out how to change it so I have been running blind in a sense as I have no idea what my kilometer pace should be. I did watch one of the videos and now know how to change the watch between miles and kilometers but I have actually left it on kilometers right now because I am trying to run by effort and not by pace. Overall I really like this watch. The only con I have being that my wrist is the size of a child’s wrist is that the band is too big. I have the band on the very last rung and I have to wear it a quarter of the way up my arm (as shown below). To learn more you can check out Soleus on their website. You can also find them on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, & Pinterest.
- Health Warrior Chia Bars: I actually received a whole slew of both the Chia Protein Bars and Chia Bar Super Snacks from Health Warrior a few months ago to try out. I have to say that these are my favorite bars ever! I loved each and every one of them. My favorite was the Banana Nut Chia Bar Super Snack, but all of them were awesome! The pros of these bars are the taste and that they are all non-GMO. The only thing I think that may be a con for some people is the texture. These bars a very chia laden that lends itself to a grainy type texture that may feel funny to some. I actually have no problem with the texture and actually really like it. You can learn more about Health Warrior on their website. You can also find them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest & Google Plus.
- WorkoutBands.com Workout Bands: Workout Bands sent me these to try out and I love them. The bag that they sent contained their complete workout band set which includes 12 pieces that covers any and every workout band exercise you might want to do. What I love is that I can take this bag everywhere with me! It is easy to pack for vacations which makes me better equipped to continue my workout routine while away! This bag of bands is fantastic and it contains bands for every level of fitness. If you need workout equipment to travel with or just have little room for storage these are for you! Also, the price is right at $49.99 (actually on sale now for $35.99). To learn more you can head over to WorkoutBands.com. You can also follow them on Facebook & Twitter.
All these items are helping me along on my fall marathon journey. I hope you all have a great weekend!! If you want to see more Running, Loving, Living you can check out all my adventures on Instagram!
