Things have been crazy lately and I figured I would give you an update on my life. This past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Fit Foodie Race Weekend in Tampa as an ambassador for the race. I will be recapping the entire weekend and am so thankful that they chose me and sponsored my weekend for both me and a friend. I had the honor of seeing Ryan Hall again (we met last year in NYC) and meeting Bill Rodgers. Both amazing athletes and both so nice.
I am excited to also announce that I am changing jobs. I love being a nurse and my ultimate goal is to really help people before they get diseases and what better way than to do that by being a school nurse. In this position I will have the opportunity to educate and make a difference in people earlier in their life.
Marathon training is touch and go, but I haven’t died because of the heat. So, I push through every training session no matter what. The best thing about training is that I have many running friends and between them all I never have to run alone. Each and every one them are special and I am so grateful that they are my friend. Thank you to all my runner friends!!!! You are the best.
My current job has been increasingly stressful. Due to this stress and pushing very heavy equipment, my back has suffered. Thankfully I have the best chiropractor, Dr. Will Abrams. He is absolutely amazing and has been my go to since I knew my back caused my injury last year. He is pretty great and most of my friends think so too.
I am looking forward to October because my new job will be much less stressful. I am looking forward to the last weeks of marathon training because I know I will get to the TCS New York City Marathon this year.
How is your life going?
