Last week I restarted my Echo Half Marathon training. It only seemed to fitting to restart the training since it was actually the first week I was able to run since February. I can safely say I am officially back and it couldn’t have come at a better time, because last week was stressful and I needed to run.
Life has it’s ups and downs. Sometimes life changes very quickly and these changes may seem like the worst thing that could happen, yet when you look back you realize they were actually the way things were supposed happen and it is not necessarily a bad thing. I truly believed that we make choices in life that leads us to where we are meant to be and I know that right in this moment is where I am meant to be.
Now onto my training from last week:
- Monday 4/10/17: Kickboxing.
- Tuesday 4/11/17: BodyBack, Run, 1.76 miles, 13:59 avg. pace.
- Wednesday 4/12/17: Run, 2.6 miles, 12:53 avg. pace.
- Thursday 4/13/17: BodyBack, Core Workout.
- Friday 4/14/17: Run, 2 miles, 12:43 avg. pace.
- Saturday 4/15/17: Tabata Workout.
- Sunday 4/16/17: Walking.
- MIles: 6.36 miles.
- Total Training Miles: 6.36 miles.
Overall a great week. The running mileage was low, but I plan to take it slow. This was a rest week from the Emily Skye plan and that was a good thing considering the week I had. I am definitely making my comeback.
Chris and I spent Saturday night in Tampa for his birthday and it was awesome. Full of amazing food and drinks. We had an amazing night.
We spent Easter Sunday with my friend Lisa and her family. We had an amazing time!!! I am grateful for the family and friends who are always there for me.
How was your week?
