Another week has passed like a blink of an eye. Where does the time go? I know one way to make time go slower, take a bootcamp class, a one hour class feels like two. This week ended my tour of duty with bootcamp and although I am sad I know I could not properly train for my upcoming half-marathon while continuing with bootcamp.
This week I set two goals for myself, to eat 2 servings of fruit a day and to drink at least 8 glasses water daily. Below are pics of my 2 servings of fruit for the past 5 days:
To meet my goal of 8 glasses of water daily I drank a combination of plain water, seltzer and Hint water. I used a metal water container that holds 24 oz water and I basically that everywhere with me. I also love plain, cherry and lemon-lime Vintage seltzer. It is a great substitute for soda but I tend to leave half full cans all over the house. Hint is also great way to keep hydrated, it is an all natural flavored water that does not contain any added sweeteners or sugars.
Drinking the 8 glasses of water a day definitely helped curb my hunger, I wasn’t quite as ravenous as I was last week after bootcamp.
Monday morning starts my half-marathon training ironically it is a rest/xt day so I will be starting with yoga. I hope everyone that’s not working like me has a great holiday weekend!!!
