I’ve had a few days of rest and a few days to think of my next goal. I have registered for two more half marathons, one in September and one in October but my training for those don’t start until next month. I like having a specific goal to focus on because it keeps me accountable and on track. Between taking care of my family and work sometimes it is easy to slack off on exercise but when I have a goal in my sights it keeps me motivated even when I don’t want to work out.
That is where this comes in:
My legs are still super sore from running on Sunday so I did 30 minutes on my recumbent bike this morning in addition to 30 minutes of yoga and they actually feel a little better. The weather here today is rainy so I will probably start running again tomorrow, I think my legs will be well recovered by then.
I am off to put together my training and diet plans for the next 90 days….big commitment which will hopefully bring me big rewards like a six pack to show off in the summer! I hope everyone has a great day!!
