Week 2 of the #Fitblog Abs Challenge is complete. My total abdominal reps at the end of the two weeks is 1411 and I am almost halfway to the goal of 3000 and there are still a few weeks left!!!
- Here is my weekly recap:
- Friday: 100 reps-50 crunches, 50 side crunches
- Saturday: none
- Sunday: 100 reps-50 crunches, 50 reverse crunches
- Monday: none
- Tuesday: 275-25 sit-ups, 250 during Supreme 90 Day’s Ultimate Ball
- Wednesday: none
- Thursday: 186 reps during Supreme 90 Day Chest and Back
- Total: 661 reps
I missed a few days this week but because Supreme 90 Day works the abs in all their videos I was still able to pull out a decent amount of reps for the week. This challenge is harder than it looks, my abs have basically been sore since I started, I have not had 1 day where my abs have not hurt at all.
Next week I plan to try to do at least 100 reps per day, although I will be away on vacation so we will see how that goes. I plan to to workout during my vacation but of course sometimes I get lazy and don’t, but I do have to run to keep up with my training plan so I might as well hit my abs too. Supreme 90 Day will be on hold because I am not carrying a stability ball and weights with me on the trip, I will find another way to work in my strength training, like using my body weight and exercise bands.
This week I am going to focus more on my obliques because I feel they could use a little more work, nobody likes extra fat on their obliques. I foresee many side crunches, bicycle crunches, side planks, sit-ups with a twist and more. My obliques will not be happy with me this week.
If you are participating in the challenge how are you doing?
