TGIF!!! I am so happy it is Friday….2 more days until the Diva’s Half-Marathon and although I don’t think I’ll score a PR, I am still super excited to run it again!!!
You may have noticed that my blog is a little messed up 🙁 I have developed some sort of error on my front page that has erased my widgets and share buttons…..I have been working on a fix for a couple of days to no avail, I am currently seeking professional help so hopefully it will be fixed by next week! Any suggestions or tips are appreciated.
Other than running and a little yoga I pretty much have been laying off the weights this week in prep for the 1/2 on Sunday. I put the 10 Pound Slimdown Xtreme Challenge on hold this week because it focused mostly on legs and I didn’t want to put too much strain on them in fear I would not be able to complete my 1/2, so I will resume the challenge where I left off on Monday.
My favorites this week include:
- My fastest 5 mile run to date!!! I ran 5 miles in 43:10 and it felt great!
- Moo Mini Cards: I have been wanting to get business cards that represent my blog for awhile now so when I received a perk from Klout for free (just $5 shipping), I got some made up right away. They are completely customizable and you can even use your own pics (up to 100)!! I love these cards they are sooo cute and they even came in time for me to give them out at my blogger playdate!!
- Fit Frappe: Last week my 5 day Shakeology challenge ended and while I loved Shakeology, it made me feel so energized, the price is a little steep…..so while I mull over whether or not I wan to actually buy Shakeology I thought I’d try out Fit Frappe. I received Fit Frappe from Klout perks and this was the perfect week for me to give it a try. I received a big jug of the Mocha flavor so I have been making shakes with it this week and it is absolutely delicious, not gritty and absolutely no aftertaste like some protein shakes. The Mocha tastes so good that I have really high hopes for the rest of the flavors which I will be trying over the next few weeks. High protein, low sugar and low calorie this is a great shake to start the day!!
