Thanks to Maria from Huff and Buff I have had the opportunity to try out the Shakeology workouts! I love DVD workouts and I love trying out new ones so when Maria offered me the chance to try out these workouts I jumped at it!!!
Shakeology The Workouts consist of two DVD’s:
- The 30: This is a 30 minute total body interval workout consisting of a warm-up, 3 rounds of cardio and strength and a cool-down. Each of the 3 rounds starts with a cardio interval followed by strength moves, each round lasts about 7 minutes.
- The 50: This is a 50 minute total body interval workout consisting of a warm-up, 3 rounds of cardio and strength and a cool-down. The workout follows the same premise as The 30 but at a much higher intensity with a longer cardio circuit followed by more difficult strength moves than in The 30.
Both these workouts were great!! I will definitely be including them in my workout DVD lineup!!
The 30 was a challenging total body workout perfect for the days when you are short on time or just too exhausted to even think about working out for 50 minutes. I found it challenging without being totally exhausting, it is just enough for me to feel accomplished and energized. The 50 rocked!! This workout was super challenging and left me completely soaked in sweat!! I really liked that you could use weights or bands for the strength moves because if you are away from home you can pack an exercise band leaving you with no excuse not to workout. I also like that they included modifications for all the exercises so whether you are a beginner or experienced you can benefit from these workouts.
