I LOVE my Fitbit. I should say I LOVED my Fitbit, because I lost it and am awaiting for a new one to arrive. What is a Fitbit? I had a Fitbit Zip which calculated my steps, mileage and calories burned and sent that info to the Fitbit website. The new Fitbit Flex I ordered will also monitor my sleep and active minutes. What I love about Fitbit is that it wirelessly syncs to both my computer and my iPhone, which provides me with instant motivation throughout my day, encouraging me to increase my steps/activity.
When I go on vacation my fitness aspirations usually fall to the wayside in favor of fun. Tell me I am not the only one!?!?!? On my Disney vacation in April I was determined to add some sort of activity into my day. With my trusty Fitbit I decided that it would be by walking at least 10,000 steps, or approximately 5 miles, a day.
