2014 is coming fast and after the Runner’s World Weekend I know exactly what my 2014 focus will be, running the NYC Marathon. I have guaranteed entry and I am ready to finally crush this goal.
I don’t want to just run the marathon, but I also want to get into peak running shape so that I can accomplish this goal to the best of my ability and injury free. This requires planning:
The next few weeks will focus on cross training and resting my sore knee. December will focus on building my strength and flexibility. January will begin my ten month long training for the NYC Marathon. Those ten months will incorporate running (obviously), strength, flexibility and clean eating.
Next week starts the Holiday Booty Buster Challenge which I plan to completely immerse myself into the challenge as a kickstarter into the new year.
2014 will be my year!!!
