My Fitbit is my absolute favorite fitness accessory right now! With this device I am able track my steps, activity and sleep! With my goal of 10,000 steps a day, I am always looking for ways to add more steps into my day. I have been known to jog in place in my bedroom just to get those last 1000 steps in for the day.
Fitstudio by Sears has made achieving my step goal even more appealing and rewarding! They recently launched the “Points for Progress” program that provides incentives for members to get fit and stay active. All you have to do is register at FitStudio.com, connect your fitness app or device, and track your activity.
As part of their #Fitin14 challenge, you earn 5,000 Shop Your Way points, which equals $5, for every 14 miles you walk or run in 2014. The Shop Your Way points that can be redeemed for merchandise in both stores and online at Sears and Kmart. I signed up this past weekend and have already earned 1,025 points, by doing what I already do, walk and run!!!
Signing up and connecting your device, whether it be Fitbit or something else, takes less than 10 minutes! Once connected, the device syncs right to the FitStudio Dashboard and the points just begin to accumulate immediately. You can compete with yourself or you can join challenges for extra motivation, either way you still earn SYW points. You can even share your progress on Facebook and Twitter directly from the FitStudio Dashboard!
You can learn everything you need to know about FitStudio’s #Fitin14 Challenge on their website, so head on over, check it out and sign up today! You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter for extra motivation!
FitStudio by Sears has provided me with a Fitbit Flex to give away to one lucky reader of Running, Loving, Living. If you win you can use your Fitbit to earn SYW points on FitStudio.com.
