This vacation I basically took a complete rest from it all, including running. I have been having some issues with my knee, not at all while running, but enough for me to take pause and take off from running while away. I knew that between all the Disney parks we were visiting that I would get plenty of exercise just walking!I averaged between 15,000 and 25,000 steps a day according to my fitbit, although there was a day and a half in the the middle of the trip that I was without my fitbit ...

New Beginnings…..
Hey everyone! I am back!!! Vacation was awesome! I pretty much took a step back from everything including work, school, this blog and even running for about 10 days. Today I start writing down exactly what I am eating so that I can see in black and white ...

Since 2004 the first Friday in April has been designated as the National Walk To Work Day. This day was created to encourage Americans to walk more and to become healthier. Unfortunately, my job is too far away to walk to work, but I try to walk at least 20-30 minutes on my dinner break when possible and weather permitting. I ...
