Disclosure: I am a compensated brand Ambassador for X2Performance, all opinions are 100% my own.  These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.

x2 performance Collage

My running has been slow lately.  I can barely break 30 minutes for a 5K, hen I used to run one in 26-27 minutes.  While I am not trying to focus on speed this year, I still want to be a little faster.

In addition to my runs being slow, they also have been low energy.  I attribute this to working nights, as I get home around 1 am and don’t fall asleep to about 2 am.  This would not be such an issue if I didn’t have a little five year old waking me between 6 and 7 am.

I was excited to picked to be an X2Performance Ambassador, especially when I read that it provides increased energy, enhanced performance and improved recovery.  My only concern was the taste, my taste buds are very sensitive and usually these types of products don’t agree with them.

In preparation for “testing” out the X2Performance, I ran a 5K route near my house as fast as I possibly could run.  Fours days later, I repeated the same route with the same intention, only this time I drank the X2Performance on an empty stomach thirty minutes prior to my run.  Check out the result below:

With and without X2 Performance Collage

I thought the results were pretty amazing!  I actually shaved 31 seconds per mile off my average time!  I felt energized throughout the entire run and the extra speed actually did not feel much harder than the first run.  I was extremely excited about the results!!!

As far as the product itself goes, the taste was tolerable.  It was a little sweet and sour, I wouldn’t say I loved it, but I would drink it again, and I have.  I usually dislike these types of products because my heart gets racy and I get nauseous, but with X2Performance I did not get any of these side effects, just pure energy.

Now I know you want to give X2Performance a try for yourself!

What a great way to test the product! I’ve really been enjoying the X2. For me the biggest benefits have been on the recovery end. Glad it’s working for you!

Awesome! That’s an incredible time difference. I’m looking forward to how X2 improves my crossfit times. Wish I could run, I love it, but my joints do not. Boo! Awesome and keep up the good work!

Ahh, I LOVE how you tested X2! As an engineer I definitely appreciate you removing variables and doing the exact same run with and without the supplement. Those are great results!

That is pretty amazing. Seeing the difference like that is a great way to show what X2 can do. Nicely done.

Seriously – sleep deprivation has a major impact on performance. Stress does too, as I’m finding out firsthand!

You say it didn’t make you nauseous but what about after…..when I run it gives me GI issues. This is my fear for marathon training. Nothing seems to work so I bonk early due to no fuel. But the thought of pooping myself is a real fear.

Can you find this in the store?

I was not nauseous or sick afterward and I have used it a few times. Not sure if you can find it in a real store, but you should def check out their samples to try it first, it is worth the shipping cost.

That is quite a difference in run times! I am impressed. My 5K time is not nearly what yours is, but I look forward to trying out X2Performance to see how it helps.
