Whether I am training for a race or just out to enjoy the weather, running keeps me calm, cool and connected!
Running allows me to calm my mind, keep a cool head and stay connected to nature and the world much like yoga, which is another love of mine. I run because I love it and it keeps me healthy both mentally and physically. I practice yoga for the same reasons plus it is a great balance to my running. When I combine my two loves, running and yoga, I feel my best!!!
With Stayfree® I always feel protected during activity which helps me stay calm, cool and connected during that time of the month. I will admit that it is difficult to stay on track during that time of month because hormonally I am a mess and between the mood swings, cramps, and migraines I don’t want to get out of bed, let alone workout. Ironically I know if I do head outdoors for a run or practice yoga I will feel 100% better and that is where Stayfree helps me out.
The protection that Stayfree offers helps to get me out the door or on the yoga mat. Stayfree offers a variety of products to fill your needs including my favorite product their STAYFREE® Ultra Thin® Regular feminine pads with Wings because I feel completely protected and completely comfortable. I don’t always wear pads but when I do I wear Stayfree. These particular pads were inspired by athletic wear and feature flexible layers that move with your body plus moisture wicking technology which is perfect for any athlete.
Whether you already love Stayfree® or just want to try them out for the first time this is the month do it because they have a great offer going on right now:
All you have to do is purchase any Stayfree® product either online or in-store between January 8 and March 12, 2015! After you purchase your product head over to http://myyoga.stayfree.com/ and upload an image of your receipt to redeem your 30-day free subscription.

I totally hate running. I have tried so many times to like it, and just don’t. My feet hurt, my knees, back, ankles. LOL
I will stick with my weight training, as that is what keeps me calm cool and connected.

It takes intention to stay chill during “that time”! Regular exercise and taking my quiet time in the morning to read my Bible, pray, meditate and journal really helps me stay centered and focused on the main thing.

When it comes to fitness I say to each their own! We all have to pick out things we enjoy doing otherwise exercising and staying fit would be a chore we’d dread having to do (been there and done that). I definitely need to get better when it comes to forcing myself to exercising during that time of the month!
