Happy Friday all!!! I am so happy this weekend is officially Summer! I am hoping that means the end to any cooler weather, I am ready for hot. Plus it means I am less than two months away from moving to Tampa Bay!!!! I gave my official notice to my job this week which just makes it so real. I am excited and nervous but I know this move is going to bring good things and I am excited for the adventure.
I haven”t done a favorites post in awhile and I am dying to share with you some things I am loving lately:
- pür mints: I have worked with pür in the past when the sent me samples of their aspartame free gum, so I was super excited to work with them again and to try out their new aspartame free mints. They were nice enough to send me an assortment of their new mints for me to try out!!
I personally have a sensitivity to aspartame and whenever I consume it I get a headache, plus I just don’t like consuming artificial sweeteners. The fact that pür products are aspartame free is a big plus in my book. Pür products are also naturally sweet, gluten free, vegan, nut & soy free, diabetic friendly, swiss made and most importantly non-gmo. Now I know what you are thinking….their products probably taste awful, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Their gum and these new mints are delicious!!! I liked every single flavor and so did my husband. Pür is one of the few types of gum/mints that I actually buy these days!!!
Pür was nice enough to offer all my readers a $10 off coupon to try out their products!
So head on over to website and check them out today! You can also find pür on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
- Yoga: I was invited to a rooftop yoga event in Manhattan hosted by Shoebuy on Tuesday and it was fantastic! I was able to get a +1 and bring my friend Crystal, who is also my blog photographer (lol), and we got to enjoy breakfast, yoga and an amazing presentation from Shoebuy which I will recap for you next week! Yoga was led by Ashley from Pure Yoga and she was awesome! Despite not practicing any yoga in months I was able to do the majority of the hour long session including crow! This session made me fall back in love with yoga and even has me considering becoming an instructor. I have been looking at some online classes and think I may sign up for a course this Summer! Any yoga instructors out there have any tips for me???
- Running/Working Out: I was pretty inactive the first quarter of this year due to a shoulder injury. I decided to rest and do PT to heal but during that rest I also got lazy. I am back to regular running and workouts thanks to a few Summer challenges and I am feeling fantastic. My husband even commented on how great I look!!
That is all folks!! I hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Cool. I haven’t heard of or tried PUR gum before… but now I am off to check it out! 🙂

Rooftop yoga sounds awesome! They offer it on the roof of Whole Foods in downtown Austin where I live. I sometimes worry it would be too hot, but I really should check it out.

Good for you for wanting to become an instructor! That’s awesome! I definitely need to do more yoga especially now that I’m marathon training. Everything is going to start feeling tight and stiff soon!

You won’t be taken seriously in yoga unless you are at least 200-RYT certified. That is what I have learned since joining an actual yoga community.
