This month is bittersweet because it is the last full month I will spend on Long Island, quite possibly for the rest of my life. Fourth of July we hosted what was the last party we will ever throw on Long Island.
I started my day with a 5K of course, not an official one, just my own solo one. Now that my grandmother has moved in with my sister, Chris and I have to run separately most of the time. I ran first and when I got back he ran. Best way to start the 4th is with a 5K! #instafonts #fitfluential #ffcheckin #runchat #running #asics #rootd #liveyourdreams #runtoconquer #runtoinspire #runners
After we set up for the party. Our friends started arriving at 10:30 am and the party continued on well after 11 pm. The weather was beautiful with the exception of about an hour of ran from 3pm to 4pm. We ate, we drank and we played Cards Against Humanity. We set off fireworks and just enjoyed the company of our friends and family.
It was a great day. I had a lot of fun with everyone. Sunday I just recovered from the party. I am getting too old to party all day!
How was your Fourth?
