So as you all know I broke a toe a few weeks ago and unfortunately it is not healing as quickly as I wanted. It seems I will be out of commission in the running arena for at least another 3-4 weeks if not a little longer. On the bright side, I will be ready to start marathon training in July, at which time I will wrap myself in bubble wrap until November.
I actually took a fall and injured my other foot too. I tripped over a box (we are in the middle of a move) and trying to save both my precious moments and already broken toe, I landed on my right foot. Thankfully, this one is not broken.
I am finally just about settled in my new house! The pool is almost done!!!! There are still a few fixes that need to be done, but other than that we just need to decorate. It has been a long few months, but I am finally ready to settle into my new Florida life. How can you go wrong when I get to do this almost everyday:

Last but not least is this blog. Over the next week or so you will see some major changes here. I am working with Katy Widrick to change my theme and freshen up the look of Running, Loving, Living. I have been in a blogging rut lately and with this new design I plan to dig myself out. Running, Loving, Living has always been a place where I can honestly share my experiences including the good, the bad and the ugly. I will continue to share these experiences with you along with more informative content that I believe you will find useful in your every day lives. If there is anything you want to see here please let me know and I will do my best to provide it!
With that said there may be times my site is down, know it won’t be for long. I will be back full swing next week!!!! See you all then!!!

Toni–Hang in there. It sounds like you are having a tough time–ruts aren’t fun, but you’ll be back at running and blogging before you know it!
Thanks so much! Your support is always appreciated!
Thanks!!!
Ooohhhhhhh that pool looks so wonderful! We’ve been having Florida like weather here in Chicago this week. Crazy how we went from spring to summer in the blink of an eye.

Bummer on the toe! It’s hard to wait while you are recovering but best to let it heal all the way before you start back.

The one thing I had to have when I moved to FLorida!
The weather is usually pretty wonderful here. At least as far as the sun. The heat can be too much sometimes, but I guess there are extremes everywhere.
I’m so sorry about that toe. I hope it does finally get healed so you can get back to doing the things you love.
